Terms of Use
Effective October 3, 2026. Last updated October 3, 2026.
Effective date: October 3, 2026. These Terms may be updated from time to time as LaneReady evolves, subject to applicable law and the change provisions below.
1. Operator and contact
LaneReady is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. The current public contact for LaneReady is [email protected]. No residential or physical street address is published in these Terms at this stage.
2. Acceptance and merchant authority
By installing, accessing, or using LaneReady, the merchant agrees to these Terms and represents that the person acting for the merchant has authority to bind the merchant. LaneReady is intended for lawful business use in connection with Shopify stores the merchant is authorized to administer.
3. About LaneReady and product scope
LaneReady is a Shopify cross-border readiness workspace for supported v1 workflows. It helps merchants review operational readiness signals for supported destinations and product categories before the merchant makes its own business decisions.
LaneReady functionality is intentionally bounded by the supported origins, destinations, product categories, permissions, and merchant-confirmed workflows described on this website. Features may be unavailable when a governed capability is intentionally disabled or fail-closed.
4. No legal, customs, tax, tariff, duty, or compliance advice
LaneReady provides operational readiness guidance only. It does not provide legal advice, customs rulings, tax advice, tariff or duty determinations, compliance certification, or a guarantee that any product, shipment, destination, transaction, or business practice is legally compliant.
Merchants remain responsible for reviewing their own legal, regulatory, customs, tax, product, shipping, and commercial obligations and for obtaining qualified professional advice where appropriate.
5. Merchant responsibility for Shopify data
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy and authority of store information they provide or make available through Shopify. LaneReady may identify missing, inconsistent, unsupported, or review-needed information, but the merchant remains responsible for deciding whether and how to act on those findings.
6. Merchant-confirmed weight remediation
Where the supported weight-remediation capability is available, LaneReady presents the relevant target and proposed change for merchant review. The merchant must explicitly confirm before the supported Shopify write attempt. LaneReady does not provide broad Shopify product editing, bulk catalog changes, silent background changes, or automatic mutation retries.
7. AI-assisted review
Where available, AI-assisted review is advisory. AI output does not authorize Shopify mutations, does not replace merchant judgment, and should be reviewed before it is relied upon.
8. Shopify relationship and third-party services
LaneReady is an independent application designed to interoperate with Shopify. Shopify is a separate third-party platform. Shopify is not responsible for LaneReady, its development, operation, support, merchant-facing guidance, or any loss arising from LaneReady's installation or use. Except where Shopify expressly states otherwise, Shopify does not provide LaneReady support.
The merchant's use of Shopify remains subject to Shopify's own applicable terms and policies. LaneReady's use of Shopify APIs and merchant data is separately governed by LaneReady's obligations to Shopify and by the LaneReady Privacy Policy. Third-party infrastructure or service providers used by LaneReady may also be subject to their own terms.
9. Billing
The LaneReady Launch plan is currently described as $19 USD per month with a 14-day free trial, with subscription management and billing handled through Shopify. The merchant is responsible for charges validly incurred through the merchant's Shopify account. Cancellation or uninstall behavior is subject to the applicable Shopify billing flow and LaneReady's then-current product configuration.
10. Acceptable use
Users may use LaneReady only for lawful business purposes and only with stores, products, and data they are authorized to access. Users must not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, misuse connected Shopify permissions, introduce malicious code, or use LaneReady to misrepresent product readiness or compliance status.
11. Availability, changes, suspension, and termination
LaneReady may change as the product is maintained and as Shopify or other connected services change. Material pricing or scope changes should be communicated through appropriate Shopify or LaneReady surfaces where reasonably practicable.
LaneReady may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, legal or regulatory compliance, Shopify platform requirements, non-payment, technical integrity, or protection of merchants or the service. A merchant may stop using LaneReady by uninstalling or cancelling through the applicable Shopify flow. Data handling following termination remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable Shopify privacy requirements.
12. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaneReady is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. LaneReady does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every readiness issue will be detected, or that use of LaneReady will make a merchant, product, shipment, or transaction legally compliant. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaneReady and its sole proprietor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data, arising from or relating to LaneReady.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaneReady's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the total fees paid or payable for LaneReady by the affected merchant during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
14. Merchant indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the merchant will indemnify and hold harmless LaneReady and its sole proprietor from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from the merchant's unlawful use of LaneReady, material breach of these Terms, unauthorized use of a Shopify store or data, or merchant-provided content, instructions, products, or business practices that infringe another party's rights or violate applicable law. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by LaneReady's own unlawful conduct.
15. Privacy and merchant data
Use of LaneReady is also subject to the LaneReady Privacy Policy, which describes the app's current data-access, retention, deletion, and support-contact posture.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights or forums that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts having jurisdiction in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to LaneReady or these Terms. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice to [email protected] before commencing formal proceedings where reasonably practicable.
17. Relationship to Shopify terms
These Terms govern the merchant's relationship with LaneReady and do not replace the merchant's separate agreement with Shopify. LaneReady will operate the app consistently with applicable Shopify developer, API, App Store, billing, privacy, and platform requirements. If Shopify requires a change to LaneReady's operation or merchant-facing terms as a condition of continued platform access, LaneReady may make the change as reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
LaneReady may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, LaneReady will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, use reasonable notice or consent mechanisms where required by applicable law, Shopify requirements, or the nature of the change. Unless a different effective date is stated, revised Terms apply prospectively from the posted effective date and do not erase the historical version that applied before the change.
19. General
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the current merchant-facing agreement for LaneReady unless another written LaneReady agreement expressly states otherwise.
